Asda is issuing a recall for Mac ‘N’ No Cheese which could pose a health risk to anyone allergic to milk
- Customers will receive a full refund when they return the product to the store
Asda recalls OMV! Mac ‘N’ No Cheese because it may contain milk, which is not listed on the label.
This means that the product poses a potential health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk ingredients.
Asda has sent a point of sale message to its customers.
These notices explain why the product is being recalled and tell customers what to do if they have purchased the product.
Asda has also contacted the relevant allergy support organizations so that they can inform their members about the recall.
Asda’s notice states: ‘If you use OMV! Mac ‘N’ No Cheese (400g) with the best before date above, return it to the nearest store where you will receive a full refund. You don’t need your receipt’

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: ‘If you have purchased the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk solids, do not eat it.
