Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Moises Caicedo, but face competition from Chelsea for the Brighton midfielder, reports in Ecuador show.
According to TeradeportesCaicedo is eager to play in the Champions League and Arsenal is his priority right now.
However, the report says that Chelsea would like to pay a higher fee for Caicedo, although they will not be involved in Europe next season.
Liverpool are also interested in the 21-year-old, although he is not considered a priority for Jürgen Klopp’s side at the moment.
Caicedo is widely expected to be allowed to leave Brighton this summer after a proposed move to Arsenal for £70 million in January fell through.
