Arsenal have rejected an initial bid from Fulham for Emile Smith Rowe.
The Cottagers are believed to have offered a fee of around £30million plus bonuses for the 23-year-old.
After the Gunners’ initial offer was rejected, Fulham are now considering making an improved proposal.
Crystal Palace are also interested in the England international, although he is one of several midfielders being watched by the Selhurst Park club.
Smith Rowe is under contract with Arsenal until June 2026.

Fulham are considering a second bid for Smith Rowe, who trained with Arsenal on Monday
Fulham have yet to sign any new players during the current summer transfer window
However, he is keen to play regularly for the first team and will probably have to leave the Emirates Stadium to do so.
Smith Rowe made three appearances for England in 2021 and 2022, scoring one goal.
Since making his debut in 2018, he has made 115 appearances for Arsenal’s first team, scoring many goals.
However, last season he played only three games in the Premier League.
