Arsenal winger Marquinhos completes his move to Fluminense.

The 20-year-old forward was loaned out to Nantes last month after expressing his desire to play for Brazil’s Under-23s in the pre-Olympic tournament that concluded on Sunday.

Fluminense will pay a loan fee and could look to make the move permanent in the summer.

Marquinhos joined the Gunners from Sao Paulo in the summer of 2022 and signed a long-term contract.

However, he struggled for game time, making just six appearances in the first half of the 2022–23 season before joining Norwich City on loan in January 2023.
