A group of football fans at Notting Hill Carnival were quite surprised when they ran into Arsenal star Jorginho in the crowd on Sunday.

Arsenal dropped points for the first time this season when it drew 2-2 against Fulham in the Emirates on Saturday.

The Gunners responded well after falling behind in the second minute and scored twice after the break. The Cottagers were then reduced to 10 men, but managed to grab a point from a set piece in the dying minutes.

And Jorginho, who came on in the second half, tried to overcome the disappointment with the result when he attended Carnival the next day.

The Italian tried to keep a low profile with a baseball cap and his hood up.

However, some eagle-eyed supporters spotted him and took to social media to share a video with him.

“Instead of Jorginho cooling his head at home, he’s with Carni,” the fan captioned the clip.

The carnival has returned for the 55th time and since its inception in the 1950s has grown to become the second largest of its kind in the world.

The annual event brings millions of people together in west London to soak up the party atmosphere and celebrate Caribbean culture over two days.

Jorginho has played just 17 minutes in the new season, making two substitute appearances in Arsenal’s three games.

The Gunners are fifth with seven points from those three games.
