Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney is about to move to Real Sociedad on loan.
The 26-year-old has not played in any of the Gunners’ Premier League games so far this season and would likely play a limited role if he stayed at the Emirates.
He has made 124 appearances for the club since signing in 2019 and has been a key player in the side despite occasional injuries.
Arsenal are keen to sell the left-back permanently, but Sociedad are currently only looking at a loan move.
The Gunners hope the deal could include an end-of-season purchase commitment.

Tierney were also briefly linked with a move to Newcastle before opting to go for Chelsea’s Lewis Hall instead.
His boyhood club Celtic were in the hunt at one point, but the potential switch appears to have fallen through.
Arsenal have started the season well without really playing at their best, with one goal win against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Palace.
They then face Fulham on Saturday, who have won and lost in their first two games.
