Arsenal are considering a transfer for Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
According to The athleticArsenal want to sign Raya to compete with first-choice shot stopper Aaron Ramsdale.
Arsenal have not yet made a bid for Raya, but Brentford are aware of their interest.
The report adds that Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Arsenal’s current second-choice goalkeeper Matt Turner.
There is currently a gap in valuations regarding a deal for Turner, but talks are ongoing.

Arsenal have loved Raya for years and wanted to sign him before signing Ramsdale in 2021.
Bayern Munich have held talks over a possible loan deal for Raya, who saw a transfer to Tottenham flopped earlier this summer.
Brentford are sticking to their £40 million valuation for Raya, with the goalkeeper having previously said he wants to leave the club in search of silverware.
Raya would have to weigh up whether he would play enough if he goes to Arsenal, while the Gunners have to consider how much they can spend.
Given his distribution skills, Raya would fit in well with Mikel Arteta’s style of play at Arsenal.
Turner joined from New England Revolution last year but made no Premier League appearance last season, despite making seven cup appearances.
The 29-year-old has yet to play for Arsenal in pre-season following his US involvement in the Gold Cup.
Raya, who was capped twice by Spain, played every game in the league for Brentford last season.
