Sporting Lisbon have reportedly named their price for star striker Viktor Gyokeres as the Sweden international attracts interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Premier League clubs have been tracking Gyokeres following the former Coventry City striker’s stunning debut season in Portugal.

Gyokeres has scored 36 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions for Sporting since his £20million move from the Sky Blues last summer.

This included 22 goals and nine assists in 24 league matches, with Sporting holding a one-point lead over rivals Benfica at the top of the table.

The 25-year-old added to his tally by scoring for Sweden against Portugal in a friendly during the international break.

According to the MirrorSporting have set an asking price of £68.5 million to sell the in-demand player this summer.

The report claims that the Portuguese league leaders are expected to cash in on the forward this summer, amid interest from the Premier League and across Europe.

Arsenal and Chelsea are heavily linked with both clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options.

Reports claimed this week that Gyokeres has been included on a ten-man shortlist drawn up by Arsenal sporting director Edu as the Gunners are big on signing a striker.

Chelsea are also expected to be on the hunt for a striker this summer, with Blues scouts reportedly taking a third look at the striker during Sweden’s 5-2 defeat to Portugal last week.

Italian giants AC Milan are also said to have an interest in signing Gyokeres.

“It’s a sign that I performed well,” Gyokeres said Football channels last week. “But it’s not something I take too seriously because it’s just speculation. But of course it’s fun.

‘We’ll see this summer. It’s not something I know about myself, what will happen. I really enjoy sports and am not stressed that summer is quickly approaching.’

Gyokeres continued his productive season by scoring for Sweden during the international break

Gyokeres previously played for Premier League team Brighton, with the Seagulls signing the forward as a teenager.

He was loaned out to St Pauli, Swansea and Coventry before joining the Sky Blues permanently in 2021.

Sporting made the move for the striker last summer after he scored 22 goals in 50 appearances for Coventry, with the club missing out on promotion to the Premier League after losing to Luton in the play-off final.

Gyokeres signed a five-year contract with the club, during which it was announced that the attacker has a release clause of €100 million, and that Coventry will be owed 15 percent of any future fee.
