Arnold Schwarzenegger has welcomed an adorable new member to his family.
On Friday, the 75-year-old actor — who will soon be returning to the big screen with his first film in four years — took to Instagram to show off the latest addition to his large animal family.
“The family is growing,” the Terminator star wrote in the caption of a photo of himself with one of his dogs and his new pet pig. “Meet Schnelly.”
In an instant, the former politician — who served as California’s 38th governor — smiled happily with the two lap-sized animals as he sat in a reclining armchair.
The entrepreneur lives with his girlfriend, Heather Milligan, 48, as well as their four dogs, donkey, miniature pony and now pet pig.

In a recent interview with FOS 11Schwarzenegger explained the meaning of his new pet’s name.
“The word ‘schnell’ means fast in German,” said the retired professional bodybuilder.
He went on to tell a story about how the pig was so fast that Milligan suggested he name it Schnelly after Schwarzenegger said the pig was “so fast.”
“Because when we brought her home, he ran out of the house and ran all over the property,” he continued. “We couldn’t get him.”
Since then, Total Recall’s vet said Schnelly has settled into his new home quickly and is getting along with the rest of the family.
“Now he’s not running away,” Schwarzenegger added. “He’s fantastic.”
He further said that taking care of all the animals is not a chore for him, but a pleasant activity.
“It’s so much fun to feed the animals in the morning — all the different dynamics and all those things — and to have that and travel the world [with them].’
