Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals giving his two grandchildren same oatmeal cookies that he feeds menagerie of animals on NBC talk show
Arnold Schwarzenegger said that when his grandchildren come over, they line up to get the same oatmeal cookies he feeds his animals on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.
“When Katherine comes over with my grandchildren, they line up. So I give a cookie to Lulu, and then I give a cookie to Dutch. I give a cookie to Schnitzel. I’ll give the pig and the two girls there a cookie, just like the animals,” Arnold (76) said with his mouth wide open.
Arnold told Jimmy that it was great being a grandfather to the two children of his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger, 34, and her husband Chris Pratt, 44.
“I have two grandchildren Lyla and Eloise and it’s wonderful,” Arnold said.
“What do they call you?” Jimmy asked.

“Grandpa,” Arnold said. ‘It’s a German word for grandpa. So Katherine and Chris (Pratt), her husband, come to the house at least once a week. And then I play with the animals. We’re having a great time. I placed them on the back of the miniature donkey. And then they wanted to ride the pig. I said no, you don’t ride pigs.’
“How many animals do you have?” Jimmy said.
“I have three dogs, Cherry, I call her Noodle, she’s the little one. She’s fifteen years old,” Arnold said. ‘Then I have Dutch, which is Malamute. Then I have Schnitzel, a beautiful female, big, big monster dog. Then I have the miniature horses, the miniature pony, Lulu and Whiskey, which is a miniature pony. It’s just fantastic those animals and the pig, that’s a new edition. We have had the pig for almost a year now and that pig is really nice. And he loves to eat.”
Arnold said it took a while for all his animals to get along.
“They all come into the kitchen and I give them oatmeal cookies every morning,” Arnold said.
Arnold said the oatmeal cookies were made for the horses, but the dogs and pig love them too.
“The pig loves everything,” Arnold said.
Jimmy said he should write a children’s book about it and then pulled out Arnold’s new book Be Useful.
The 76-year-old action star appeared on the NBC talk show to promote his upcoming Super Bowl ad for State Farm
Arnold’s daughter Katherine and husband Chris Pratt, shown in April 2019 in Los Angeles, have three-year-old daughter Lyla and 20-month-old daughter Eloise together.

“It’s really the things I wanted to share with people about how to be more successful and happier in your life,” Arnold said. ‘How to achieve your goals. Because there are so many people who need help.’
Arnold said he also did the Pump App because he wanted to provide a “positive corner” where people can learn how to help themselves.
He said a million people have now signed up and it’s all about helping people be happier and more successful.
Jimmy also asked about his big new action movie “Agent State Farm” and how Jason Momoa, 44, took to social media and congratulated Arnold on beating him out for the role.
“I’m sure the move will be great,” Jason said. “Brother, it would be an honor to come to the premiere someday, because we have never met.”
Jimmy said it was classy of Jason to reach out to Arnold after losing him for the role.
‘In all honesty I didn’t beat him. My feeling is that I want him to be part of this great action movie because he is the biggest action star today,” Arnold said. “I’ve never met him, but I’m really looking forward to working with him.”
Jimmy asked if it was a commercial or actually a movie.

“This is a monster movie,” Arnold said.
“Is Jake from State Farm in the movie?” Jimmy said.
Arnold said that Jake from State Farm was one of the reasons he wanted to make the film.
“Jake is a great actor and he’s really fantastic,” Arnold said.
Arnold said he helped Jake get “pumped” to be in the movie. Jimmy then played a clip from the movie of just Arnold with an explosion behind him.
“That was probably the fastest segment we’ve shown in the history of The Tonight Show, why is it so short?” Jimmy asked.
“Because we didn’t want to tell you the whole story,” Arnold said.
Arnold said the “movie” was only 60 seconds long and was released on February 11 “before the second quarter.”
“This feels like a big commercial for the Super Bowl,” Jimmy said.
Jimmy also played a fun Pup Quiz game with Arnold.

Arnold played against Jake from State Farm.
Jimmy held a Golden Retriever puppy and said whoever got the question right would get the puppy.
Arnold and Jake sat in comfy chairs with their puppies.
The actor and former governor of California won and all four puppies sat on his lap and licked his face when the game was over.
