Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan bike to Gold’s Gym before son Joseph Baena gets there
Arnold Schwarzenegger has made cycling with friends and family an integral part of his daily exercise routine in recent years.
And the former governor of California was at it again, only this time he was joined by several people, including girlfriend Heather Milligan.
The pair started in the more inland part of Los Angeles and made their way to the coast, with their final destination being Schwarzenegger’s old weightlifting facility, Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach.
The Terminator star, who was also working out, eventually attracted fans as they stood outside in front of the building wanting to snap some selfies in front of the billboard for his new documentary series on Netflix.
Later, after the father of five left, Joseph Baena, Schwarzenegger’s son, was seen arriving at Gold Gym’s for his near-daily workout.
Morning routine: Arnold Schwarzenegger, 75, took one of his almost daily bike rides around Los Angeles with longtime partner Heather Milligan, 48, and at least one other male friend
Schwarzenegger, 75, made his way through the streets of Los Angeles towards the beach in black sports shorts, a gray USA T-shirt and black sneakers.
To help with the glare of Southern California, the legendary action-hero actor wore mirror sunglasses on a day with temperatures from above the 60s Fahrenheit to the mid-70s more inland
Milligan, 48, also went for a sporty look in tan tight-fitting leggings and a white plunging sweatshirt over a blue crop top.
She also donned dark sunglasses and pulled her long blonde locks back into a loose ponytail for the ride.
On yet another sunny day in Southern California, and temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s, the Austrian native faced a group of people stunned to encounter the Hollywood legend.
Being the fan-friendly gentleman that he is, Schwarzenegger and a male devil also stopped on the bike ride to let them take some selfies while making sure the docuseries billboard came into his picture.
Simply titled Arnold, the Netflix production follows ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger’s multifaceted life and career, from bodybuilding champion to Hollywood icon and politician.’
The three-part series premiered on the video-on-demand streaming service on June 7.
Sporty: The former governor of California, who also had a male friend with him, looked sporty and fit in black shorts and a gray UDA t-shirt
Fan-friendly: During a stop at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, the Terminator posed for selfies with fans in front of the billboard for his Arnold docuseries which premiered on Netflix on June 7
Star Power: After capturing fans’ attention, the former bodybuilding champ and his friend got back on their bikes and hit the road again
After snapping a few photos with members of his adoring fans, the two men began pushing their bikes forward and moments later were back on the road and cycling off with Milligan.
The couple has been dating since 2015, which translates to about eight years.
Schwarzenegger divorced his wife Maria Shriver in 2011, following the revelation that during their marriage he fathered a son, Joseph Baena, now 25, with the family’s former housekeeper, Mildred Baena.
He also has four children with his ex-wife: daughters Katharine, 33, Christina, 31, and sons Patrick, 29, and Christopher, 25.
Like father, like son: Moments later, Schwarzenegger’s 25-year-old son, Joseph Baena, arrived at Venice Beach’s famed Gold’s Gym for his workout
Baena is shown to be following in his father’s footsteps with his love of weightlifting and exercise in general, and his passion for acting.
Baena chatted with a few people gathered in front of the gym at the billboard for the Arnold documentary now on Netflix
Ripped: The actor, fitness model and real estate agent donned a sleeveless t-shirt to match his black shorts and black and white plaid slip-on sneakers
Hard at work: Baena works out at the Gold’s Gym most days of the week
While initially difficult to navigate, the old leading man has since built a relationship with Baena, who turned out to be following in his father’s footsteps with his love of weightlifting and exercise in general, and his passion for acting.
Baena would go to the same Gold’s Gym, not far from the famous Muscle Beach in Venice Beach, for his daily workout.
The fitness model and real estate agent showed up ready for a workout dressed in black shorts, a white Gold’s Gym t-shirt and black and white checkered slip-on sneakers.
He would don a sleeveless T-shirt, which helped show off his bulging biceps and pecs, for his workout at the facility.
