UFC star and current bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley revealed that armed police stormed his home following a false ‘swatting’ report that he had killed both his parents and was an active shooter.

O’Malley was live streaming himself playing a video game when police entered his street and immediately caught his attention.

O’Malley said he went outside where he was forced to put his hands behind his head. Because he was not armed, officers left him alone and handcuffed in a police car while they investigated the situation.

Swatting occurs when someone wrongly reports a crime to the police and claims that someone else has committed a violent act.

Making such false reports is in itself a crime.

O’Malley told how he was beaten last weekend and how he cooperated with police

O’Malley is 18-1 as a professional fighter and holds the UFC bantamweight championship
