Arkansas MMA fighter who doesn’t believe in gravity reveals plans to homeschool toddler son to stop him becoming gay

A UFC star revealed his plans to homeschool his toddler to ‘keep him from turning gay’ in an extended anti-vaccine rant.

Bryce Mitchell, 29, the No. 12 featherweight fighter in the world, sat shirtless with his son Tucker on his lap as he spoke out about his beliefs on Instagram.

“We’re going to have to homeschool all our kids or they’ll end up being gay,” he began in the video, which invited mockery from viewers.

“I don’t want him to be a communist, I don’t want him to worship Satan, and I don’t want him to be gay.”

Mitchell did not provide further explanation, although he may have been referring to lessons about LGBT pride in schools and the fact that teachers keep changes in students’ gender identity secret from parents, which has caused controversy in recent years.

Mitchell has raised eyebrows with a number of comments throughout his fighting career, including in 2022 when he challenged podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan to a debate on whether the Earth was flat, during which he also revealed that he is not in gravity believes.

In his most recent video, Mitchell told his nearly half a million followers that he planned to self-educate his son because of his views on homosexuals and his belief that vaccines cause autism.

“I would like to encourage you not to vaccinate your children because I think it is bad for their health,” he began the video.

“It could possibly kill them. Kind of, uh, make them autistic. Seriously, these vaccines are poisonous. Don’t get your children vaccinated.’

The fighter pointed to his son and said he is keeping him out of school, claiming it will prevent him from becoming gay, a communist or a Satanist, which he linked to a lack of religious teachings in education.

‘From the public schools they took the most valuable book of all time. The best-selling book of all time. The oldest, most accurate historical document there has ever been: the Bible.

“They took it out of the schools and replaced it with Edgar Allen Poe, who was staying with his cousin. My son is not going to read Edgar Allen Poe.

‘He’s going to read the Bible. That’s just the way it is, and I’m just telling you, if you don’t teach your child these things, he’s going straight to the devil. We won’t let that happen here.’

Mitchell’s Instagram video drew mockery from some viewers, with one commenting: “I wouldn’t worry about someone twisting your words if they’re already so incomprehensible.”

‘Wow! As a Christian, I find it sad that you are so ignorant! I will pray for you,” said another.

A third said: ‘I’m literally looking at the stupidest, most uninformed person on the planet.’

Mitchell has been competing in the UFC since 2018, racking up more than a dozen wins and causing controversy with some of his views.

Those Mitchell has confronted during this time include podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who he challenged to a debate in 2022 when he accused Rogan of “talking c** about him and his mother.”

The clash seemed to come over their differing views on the shape of the Earth, as Mitchell said, “My mother and I will tell you right now that the Earth is flat!”

“It’s not moving around at 400 miles per hour, spinning at a thousand miles per hour, and floating through the universe all the time, okay?” he added.

‘This earth is flat, solid and the stars and everything revolve around us. The sun revolves around us, and I can prove that… They’re trying to tell you lies to make you think science is right.’

The hunter particularly turned heads during the video as he claimed that not only is the Earth flat, but gravity “isn’t real.”

‘It’s the density. If this paper falls, it is because it is denser than the world around it, not because of something magical called gravity.

‘There is no proof of gravity, brother, there is only proof of density. That’s why hot air balloons float, because hot air is less dense.’
