Ark: Survival Ascended launches on PS5 tomorrow following delay
Studio Wildcard has announced this Ark: Survival ascended officially coming to PlayStation 5 on November 30.
After a delay that suggested the game would release in early December, PlayStation fans can finally look forward to the game when it releases tomorrow.
“We appreciate your patience as we worked on the launch Ark: Survival ascended on PlayStation,” the studio said in a rack on Twitter. “In our last announcement we expected a launch date in early December, but we are excited to announce that the launch date has been set for Thursday, November 30 at 9am PACIFIC (12pm ET / 5pm GMT, or 4am AEDT on December 1) .
“As with other console launches, the new set of official servers will only come online a few hours after launch to allow plenty of time for downloads. This ensures that everyone has a fair chance to participate in the game and enjoy the experience Ark: Survival ascended.”
Wildcard added that the new servers will also come online “for a period of time” with bonus rates, so all players have a chance to catch up.
The open-world RPG launched in early access on PC on October 26, followed by the Xbox Series 14.
The game was still going through the certification process, which caused the game to be delayed, but then this was reported on November 16 that the process had ‘raised a number of unexpected problems’.
