Arizona principal exposed after disgusting messages to undercover cop posing as a 12-year-old girl

An Arizona high school principal is accused of using a social media app to send sexual messages to an undercover police officer, posing as a 12-year-old girl.

Joe Kinney, 42, principal of Buckeye Union High School, has been arrested after he was allegedly caught sending disgusting text messages to an Oregon police officer under an alias via an app called Whisper.

The website is described as “an anonymous social media application that allows users to post messages, also known as ‘whisper messages’, on the application and exchange messages with other users.”

Court documents allege the suspect allegedly told the “victim” to “get comfortable in her bed and take off her clothes.”

When the officer told him they were only 12 years old, Kinney allegedly said, “I don’t care about your age.”

Officials also said in the report that the disgraced school principal continued to text the “victim” after being told about his age.

At one point, he allegedly told the young lady that he would “love to come and rescue her and that they would have a good time,” police said.

Documents also show that Kinney asked the teen for nude photos, but never received them.

The conversation eventually came to an end when the “victim” was ignored after asking the director about his work.

Following this, the FBI executed a search warrant at Kinney’s home in Goodyear and that same day the despicable man was arrested during a traffic stop.

Buckeye Union High School District Superintendent Dr. Steve Bebee later said the principal was terminated after the investigation began.

In an interview with police, Kinney admitted that he liked Whisper because “it seemed like fantasy and it was anonymous,” the AZFamilie.

Official records also show that the suspect admitted to talking to multiple underage girls on Whisper. However, he never thought they were minors, but rather that they were “adults having imaginative conversations and role-playing.”

In addition to this interaction, Kinney reportedly told authorities that he had had contact with a nine-year-old girl. Because her photo did not appear to match her age, he assumed she was an adult.

The sickening man had also spoken to another 12-year-old through the app.

Following this revelation, former FBI agent James Egelston warned parents to be careful with their children’s online activities.

‘This is yet another warning about how important it is for parents to know what websites their children visit.

“Unfortunately, there are many cases where people who are interested in children try to work themselves into a position, either through their professional job or a sideline, where they have access to children. People should be aware of that as well,” he said.

Kinney has now been charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation and has posted $60,000 bail.

If he manages to pay his way out of prison, he will have to submit to electronic monitoring and, without exception, will never be allowed to have contact with minors again.

Buckeye Union High School District Superintendent Dr. Steve Bebee later said the principal was terminated after the investigation began.

‘The Buckeye Union High School District has been informed that BUHS Principal Joe Kinney is being investigated by police for a personal matter unrelated to his work for the school or the district.

Per district policy, Mr. Kinney has been placed on administrative leave until further notice. In the meantime, Ms. Kristin Koke will assume the duties of principal of Buckeye Union High School,” the school said in a statement. press release.
