Arizona man who once threatened to ‘hunt’ gay people is kicked out of Barnes & Noble for harassment

A homosexual-obsessed Arizona man was kicked out of a Barnes & Noble store for filming himself harassing people browsing the LGBT Pride section and others about their vaccination status.

Ethan Schmidt, 24, a right-wing provocateur and anti-LGTBQ extremist, mocked and bullied shoppers with his vitriolic rhetoric at Monday’s “Read with Pride” book launch before being kicked out of the store by a manager.

The disturbing footage posted to Reddit shows Schmidt – who once shared his desire to “hunt” gay people – visiting the store with an unknown friend, then asking an employee if there is a gay pride department it’s for children.

When he is told that there is a pride section, but that it does not contain children’s books, Schmidt walks to the stands muttering angrily about gays.

“Here’s the gay loser Pride section,” he snaps. Two young girls flipping through the books on the table appear both surprised and annoyed before walking away.

“I’m just tempted to just kick it down, man,” he tells his sidekick, referring to the placement in the center of the screen as a “satanic shrine.”

The store manager, named Ryan, is seen running over and telling Schmidt to leave the premises as he raises his hand in a blocking motion.

His crook friend then describes the table the books are on as “unstable,” before spitting out, “…looks like their ideology.”

Schmidt remains furious and approaches a young couple asking about their COVID vaccination status.

“Excuse me… you’ve been vaccinated… you’re getting the COVID-19,” he asks, making a soothing sound.

The pair, who have not been identified, respond by shaking their heads and replying, “Yes!” before Schmidt blurts out, “natural selection they said people.”

In the following clip, the store manager, who clearly knew who Schmidt was, is seen running towards the duo. “Ethan Schmidt… Ethan Schmidt.”

“I’ll have to ask you to leave, so if you want,” the manager smiles, appearing furious as he gestures toward the door.

Schmidt, who didn’t seem to flinch, said, “What’s the matter?…What’s the matter? You don’t like Ethan Schmidt… We exposed all your waking shit!”

The manager replies, “That’s fine.”

Schmidt counters, “We’ve already exposed it.”

As the extremist left the store with store security wishing him a good day, Schmidt’s boyfriend tries to enrage his friend.

“They teamed up against you,” he said.

‘Do you think they knew you? They figured out who you were pretty quickly.

Schmidt replied, “Yes, they know who I am,” he said. ‘All those employees of these wok shops now know who I am.’

Schmidt was arrested on June 11 for failing to appear in court on charges of “failing to comply with the law.” Earlier, in a video he posted to Twitter on May 21, he threatened to “hunt” LGBTQ rights supporters.

In a second video, he harassed Target employees about the pride-themed campaign for Pride Month.

In July, he was removed from a PetSmart store after asking the cashier to remove a Pride flag from the register.

He also appeared at a March for Our Lives protest in Phoenix with an AR-15 rifle to protest against a rally for stricter gun laws following the mass shootings that occurred in the country.

“They will never take our guns,” he wrote in a May 21 tweet before being arrested.
