Ariana Madix learns how brutal heartbreak can be after learning that her partner of nine years was having an affair with a mutual friend.
Fellow Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent, 32, recalled seeing Ariana, 37, for the first time after Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss, 28, came to light.
The star, who endured a similar heartbreak after her ex-fiance Randall Emmett was accused of cheating on her, said the situation made Ariana understand Lala’s own post-breakup weight loss.
“When I saw Ariana for the first time since all this happened, she said to me, “It makes sense now that you’ve lost so much weight. It’s a different kind of pain,” Lala said on her podcast. Give them Lala.
“It’s a heartbreaking sadness that you can’t explain,” she said.

Ariana had been dating Tom for nearly a decade, and the couple had even bought a house together during their relationship.
Despite the betrayal, Ariana and Tom continue to live under the same roof.
“Sandoval doesn’t want to leave the house. I don’t know if he will now, but for a long time he thought, “I plan to be here all week and I plan to use every room in the house,” Lala claimed.
She noted that her friend was left without a “safe” place to “recharge” from the affair.
At the moment, both Ariana and Tom still live in the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home in Valley Village, according to TMZ.
The outlet reports that both Ariana and Tom, 39, co-own the home they paid $2.075 million for in 2019.
Both parties are not always in the house at the same time.
Raquel was recently seen at the house saying goodbye to Tom before visiting relatives in St. Louis.

She stars alongside Meagan Good, Roger Cross and Faith Wright in the story of a mother fighting to find her missing daughter after discovering the teen is being trafficked on a prostitution website.
Now that news of the Scandoval is out in the open, many Vanderpump Rules stars look back and seem to remember signs that trouble was brewing.
