Ariana Madix takes bestie Raquel Leviss bikini shopping before that AFFAIR with Tom Sandoval exposed

Ariana Madix went bikini shopping with Raquel Leviss while encouraging her to “make mistakes” and “go crazy” on Wednesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules.

The 37-year-old reality star was babysitting Raquel, 28, before recently finding out that her longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval, 39, was having an affair with her.

They tried on swimsuits together before their girls’ trip to Las Vegas and Lake Havasu during the season 10 episode of Bravo.

In a confessional, Raquel called Lake Havasu “infamous for Girls Gone Wild” and pretended to lift up her shirt.

‘Spring break!’ Rachel said. Or so I heard.

Ariana commented that Raquel told Katie Maloney, 36, the night before about making a move on her ex-husband Tom Schwartz, 40.

I couldn’t believe what you said to Katie last night. That you asked Schwartz if he wanted to kiss?’ Ariana said.

‘I was like, am I about to get mad at Raquel for the first time?’ Ariana said.

Raquel didn’t say anything but went back to looking at swimsuits in the store.

We have been encouraging Raquel to go out. To make mistakes. Go crazy,” but then she says that he asked Schwartz to make out with her, it’s like, “Okay, but not like that,” Ariana said in a confessional.

‘For a moment, I felt it was unfair to Katie [Maloney] to determine who Schwartz can hang out with or like to make out with,’ Raquel said as Ariana laughed.

“But after seeing the way he responded last night, I felt really, really bad,” Raquel said.

In a confessional, Raquel said she was never close friends with the 36-year-old Katie.

“Katie and I were never close friends because she always had problems with James,” Raquel said, referring to her ex-boyfriend James Kennedy. And she didn’t come to my puppy party. Also, it’s hard to tell what she’s really thinking and what she’s really feeling because she has such a good poker face.

Raquel told Ariana that she told Scheana Shay, 37, about the girls’ trip and how she wasn’t invited.

“She was like ‘that’s cool,'” Raquel said.

Scheana then told Lala that Katie would not be attending her wedding.

“I took her off the list today,” Scheana said.

Scheana said Brock Davies, 30, planned an epic wedding in Mexico complete with fire dancers, water drummers and maybe a mariachi band.

‘You know what we’re not going to have?’ Scheana said in a confessional. ‘Katie Maloney’s bitch’.

Scheana told Lala that Katie only makes her feel bad about herself.

“She’s a fucking bitch,” Scheana said. And you know this because you’ve been on the receiving end.

“Where it misses is that you’re saying you have empathy in her divorce, but then you’re going to try to facilitate some kind of intimacy between your best friend, Raquel, and Tom Schwartz,” Lala said.

“It was a cheeky one like hey, wink, wink, nudge, nudge,” Scheana said. “Schwartz even said the other day that he says ‘if Raquel and I end up kissing, it’s because Katie pushed me to do it’.”

Katie talked to Charli Burnett, 26, about who was going on the girls’ trip.

‘Are you going to let Raquel go?’ Charlie asked.

“Yes,” Katie said. “We’re just becoming friends and I really like Raquel, so I’m giving her a chance to show that this isn’t indicative of who she is, but just like Scheana, this is exactly who she is.”

Lala, 31, went to Raquel’s apartment to meet before going to Las Vegas.

“I’m going crazy on this trip,” Lala said.

“Hopefully there are enough men to go around because I feel like there are few options these days,” said Raquel.

“I don’t think we have the same taste in men,” Lala said.

Lala shared that she hadn’t had sex since 2020 after she conceived her daughter Ocean with her ex Randall Emmett, 51.

The girls flew to Las Vegas and checked into the Paris hotel. But once there, Ariana began to cry after receiving a call and said that she had to go home because her dog Charlotte of hers was not well. Ariana packed her bags and left.

Raquel later made out with Garcelle Beauvais’s son Oliver Saunders, 32, after Lala was the first person to notice when she was her waiter at Vanderpump à Paris.

“With a face like that, I’ll let you do what you want,” Lala said.

But when they got to the Discopussy club, Raquel, 28, moved in and told Lala that she thought Oliver was cute too.

In a confessional, Lala said that she found it strange that Raquel would suddenly take an interest in Oliver.

“She’s treating this like a contest and she’s in competition mode with me,” Lala said.

Oliver, who was separated from his wife Samantha, and Raquel went to the dance floor and started making out.
