Ariana Madix channels Britney Spears in a sheer diamond-studded dress: ‘I’ve never felt hotter’
Ariana Madix proved she’s mastered “revenge dressing” as she recreated one of Britney Spears’ most iconic looks from her 2003 Toxic music video.
After enjoying a day of shopping at Bloomingdale’s on Thursday, the 37-year-old Vanderpump Rules star uploaded a slideshow of snaps rocking a number of different sultry looks, including one that paid homage to the Princess of Pop, 41.
Her comment section was immediately flooded with friends, like castmate Scheana Shay, and fans commenting on how similar the ensemble made her look to the Grammy winner.
“Omg 2 Gives Britney Toxic!” Shay, 37, raved, referring to Madix’s sheer, diamond-studded dress, which she paired with glittering silver heels.
Under her reply, others agreed to agree, since they wrote “100 percent” and that they had “exactly” the same thought.

“It gives Britney Toxic,” another commented, while another compared the sheer dress to the one Spears wore during her performance at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
Like Madix’s show-stopping outfit — designer Retrofête’s de Vinci dress — both of the circus hitmaker’s famous costumes featured visible nude underwear to protect her modesty.
Madix stated on Instagram that wearing the edgy look that retails for $1,095 made her feel “hotter” than ever.
The post comes as current episodes of Vanderpump Rules show the affair — or Scandoval — between her partner of nine years, Tom Sandoval, 39, and Raquel Leviss, 28, in real time.
On Wednesday’s episode of VPR, fans finally got to see the first signs of the affair between Sandoval and Leviss.
There was a bizarre scene at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR restaurant when Sandoval asked Leviss to curl up next to him on a couch where their eyes met for an uncomfortably long time.
Then Ally Lewber, James Kennedy’s girlfriend, said in a confessional, “I saw Sandoval and Raquel dance together at The Abbey.”
‘I thought it was a bit strange. It was about 1am,” she continued. “We were like, where’s Ariana?”

“I personally wouldn’t like my boyfriend going out with girls at 1am,” she added. “But everyone is different.”
Later in the episode, Katie Maloney makes sure Sandoval knows they all know about the night at the Abbey.
“You also get a lot of fun out of Raquel, I think,” she told TomTom’s owner.
“Dude, what the hell are you saying?” he answered. “Dude, get out of here man.”
Meanwhile, Ariana isn’t just dressing up for revenge, she’s also locking lips with a new man.
She packed the PDA with fitness trainer Daniel Wai as she dropped him off at LAX on Tuesday after their weekend at Coachella.
When they weren’t kissing, they looked at each other tenderly and she smiled at him.
