Ariana Grande’s boyfriend Ethan Slater finalizes divorce from Lilly Jay – over a year after he started dating pop star
Ariana’s boyfriend Ethan Slater has finalized her divorce from Lilly Jay. They split last year and now a settlement has been reached.
Documents obtained by TMZ It emerged that a judge approved the settlement on Thursday.
It’s been a little over a year since the 31-year-old pop star and Broadway actor, 32, began a romance on the set of their upcoming film Wicked.
Slater filed for divorce on July 26, 2023, five years after marrying his high school sweetheart, Jay.
Grande was married to Dalton Gomez at the time. She filed for divorce in September 2023, listing February 20, 2023 as the date of separation.

It comes just over a year after the 31-year-old pop star and Broadway actor, 32, began a romance on the set of their upcoming multi-part film Wicked
Ariana’s divorce was finalized in October 2023, with the recording artist paying Gomez a one-time $1,250,000 in alimony.
She also paid $25,000 in attorney fees for the real estate agent.
Grande and Slater met in December 2022 on the UK set of the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked, in which Ariana plays Glinda, the good witch, alongside Ethan as little Boq.
Both parties announced within days that they were splitting up.
Ariana announced her split from Dalton just three days before confirming her new relationship with Ethan, who subsequently filed for divorce from Lilly.
He invokes irreconcilable differences and requests joint custody of their two-year-old son.
Lilly later condemned Ariana in a series of derogatory interviews, in which she said Page Six The artist is “not a girly girl,” adding that “my family is just collateral damage to her.”
Last year, Lilly exclusively told DailyMail.com that she was determined to move on with her life as a single mother.

Ethan showed his support for his girlfriend on Friday by sharing a new Wicked trailer on social media featuring Ariana as Glinda.
He wrote in an Instagram Stories post: “I can’t wait for everyone to meet Galinda.”
After the negative reactions to their relationship planning, the couple has kept a low profile.
They were last spotted during Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final in June 2024.
And in April, Ariana supported her boyfriend when she attended the final performance of his Broadway musical Spamalot.
