Ariana Grande reportedly has no plans to tour in 2025 amid the success of Wicked.
Following her first-ever Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Glinda, it was speculated that the 31-year-old singer would next embark on a concert tour.
Rumors of a possible tour started circulating on social media this week when fans noticed a series of shows apparently appearing on Ticketmaster.
However, fans were left very disappointed when her record label Republic Records quashed the rumors and shared a message from Grande thanking her supporters.
“There are no plans for a tour next year, but Ariana continues to deeply appreciate her fans and all their continued love, support and excitement,” the statement said.
So for now, Grande — who recently addressed “dangerous” weight-loss comments about her “skinny” appearance — won’t be doing any circuit in support of her seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine, which she released on March 8.
Her last tour was the Sweetener World Tour, which ran from March 2019 to December 2019. The tour supported her albums Sweetener and Thank U, Next.

It was the first album she released in over three years, following the release of Positions in 2020.
The pop star has consistently denied rumors that she would embark on a world tour, but she previously teased a possible mini-tour next year.
She explored the possibility of touring her Eternal Sunshine album by doing a small series of shows in between the release of the two-part Wicked films. (Wicked: Part One was released this year and part two will be released on November 26, 2025.)
During an episode of the Shut up Evan podcast in July, Grande talked about performing in concert again, saying, “I still want it too.”
She told host Evan Ross Katz, “I think it would be a really nice idea to be able to trickle in a show between the two Wicked movies. I think there’s a version of that.’
Grande explained that it would likely be a “mini preview of shows” rather than a massive world tour “for a multitude of reasons.”
After suggesting the idea for a mini-tour, she said, “I think it would be a lot of fun to do that, and it’s something my team and I are working on to come up with options.”
Recently, Grande said she wanted to focus on her acting career after the major musical film adaptation reignited her passion for the art.

Her role as Galinda, also known as Glinda the Good Witch, even earned her her very first Golden Globe nomination.
Earlier this week, it was also announced that Grande received a Critics Choice nod in the Best Supporting Actress category.
Many enthusiasts also took to social media the day after the first of the two-part, beloved musical adaptation film premiered in theaters to speculate that Grande could win an Oscar.
The film has earned $372 million worldwide since it hit theaters on November 22.
During the promotional tour for Wicked, Grande talked about her career plan for the next decade and revealed that she has plans to make a change.
Although she said she’s “always going to do pop stuff,” she said she wants to focus more on her acting career at this point in her life.
“I’m going to say something scary like that, it’s going to scare my fans and scare everyone,” she said on the Nov. 6 episode of Wicked costar Bowen Yang and Matt Roger’s podcast Las Culturistas.
“I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to be on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I promise,” she continued.

Grande started her career in entertainment when she performed on Broadway at the age of 15.
She later found fame on Nickelodeon’s Victorious before landing her own spin-off, Sam & Cat. Since then, Grande has also released seven studio albums.
The We Can’t Be Friends hitmaker explained that acting “fuels” her passion in a way that is different from songwriting.
She explained that being a singer means “constantly reliving that one thing you wrote the song about.”
On continuing to act, she said: “I think I would like to do that in whatever sense, in whatever role that we see fit or where I could do a really good job or honor the material. I think it’s a lot better for me.’
She also recently revealed why she was hesitant to ever return as a judge and mentor on NBC’s The Voice alongside John Legend, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.
