Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo caught red-faced sneaking out of Golden Globes mid-show
Bad stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were caught red-faced as they briefly left the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
While Sarah Paulson and Rachel Brosnahan were on stage presenting an award, the two could be seen in the corner of the screen, with Grande leading Erivo by the hand as they tried to sneak out of the room.
The hilarious moment which was recorded on X by user @todasgeek, even showed the moment Grande realized they were being filmed.
The two actresses tried to duck to get out of the picture, but they were still captured on screen in their evening dresses.
They were finally able to get away when they escaped the frame.
It’s unclear where exactly they went, but they were back in time for the moment Wicked won the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award and joined the rest of their castmates on stage.
The duo, who have become fan favorites due to their close relationship and viral interviews during the Wicked press tour, were both nominated for their roles in the film.
Erivo was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, but lost in the category to Demi Moore.

Grande was up for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture, but the award was instead given to Zoe Saldaña.
This year’s annual awards ceremony, which takes place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrates some of the most popular TV shows and movies.
Comedian Nikki Glaser opened the show with a hilarious monologue in which she made shocking jokes about Sean “Diddy” Combs, Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The 40-year-old SNL star, who hosted the glittering awards show for the first time, left the superstar audience and viewers reeling when she called out the disgraced star’s “freak-offs” and viral claims of 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Glaser also referenced Trump’s victory in the presidential election — despite Hollywood’s overwhelming support for the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, and a sex joke about Ben Affleck.
She said: “Some of you may know me as a stand-up comedian and from my roast dinner appearances. But I’m not here to roast you. I want you to know that. How could I actually do that? You are also famous, so talented, so powerful. You can basically do anything except tell the country who to vote for, but that’s OK.’
The reference to Diddy came when Glaser mentioned Zendaya, as she said, “Zendaya is here – Zendaya, you were incredible in Dune. Oh, my God, I woke up to all your scenes. You were so good.
“And challengers, girl? Oh, my God, that was so good. That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card.”

Glaser continued, “I’m sorry, I’m angry too. The afterparty won’t be as good this year. But we have to move on. ‘Stanley Tucci freak-off’ doesn’t have the same ring – no baby oil this year, just lots of olive oil.”
This year’s nominations include some of the biggest hits, such as Challengers, Deadpool & Wolverine, Twisters, Wicked and The Brutalist.
The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White won Best Television Actor – Musical/Comedy Series, while Baby Rendeer’s Jessica Gunning took home the award for Best Supporting Actress – Television.
Brutalist star Adrien Brody took home the award for Best Male Actor – Film – Drama.
Emilia Pérez took home the prize for Best Film – Musical or Comedy.
