Ariana DeBose looked fashionable as she walked the red carpet at The 45th Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC on Sunday.

The 31-year-old West Side Story star wore a silky purple dress with a slit down the front, exposing her long legs.

She added metallic silver heels and a skinny necklace to her ensemble. Her short black hair was swept to the left in the front.

The Oscar winner flashed a big smile as she made her way to the big event.

The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual awards ceremony that honors some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry with lifetime achievement awards.

George Clooney, Amy Grant, Gladys Knight, songwriter Tania León and U2 were honored at Sunday night’s event.

DeBose recently performed at the 2022 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, as well as Shania Twain.

US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were present at the ceremony, held Wednesday at Presidents Park on the Ellipse in Washington, DC.

Other artists included LL Cool J, Joss Stone, Andy Grammer, The Estefans, and Gloria Adams.
