Argentine actress Soledad Fandino reveals she underwent breast cancer surgery to remove multiple tumors

An Argentinian actress has used social media to raise awareness about breast cancer after revealing she had undergone surgery to remove tumors.

Soledad Fandiño announced the shocking news via Instagram on Monday, saying she sought medical help after noticing she wasn’t feeling well.

“I recently underwent surgery, a phase in my life that began when my intuition convinced me something was wrong,” said the 42-year-old former model. ‘Sometimes our body speaks to us in a subtle way and it is important to listen to it.

‘The diagnosis of breast cancer is not easy and certainly not the words we hear from others during this process.

“Sometimes what they say, without meaning it, can hurt and cause fear or uncertainty,” Fandiño added.

Former Argentinian actress Soledad Fandiño is using her recent breast cancer diagnosis to raise awareness. The 42-year-old shared a series of photos to her Instagram last Friday of her recovery from surgery and waited until Monday to reveal for the first time that she was recovering from the disease.

Argentinian actress Soledad Fandiño announced on Monday that she is recovering from breast cancer surgery. “The most important thing is not to be paralyzed by fear,” she said in an Instagram post. ‘There are many things we can do to heal ourselves, take care of ourselves, move forward, act and look for options and surrounding ourselves with support is an essential part of the process’

Fandiño, who has a son from her previous relationship with Argentine singer René Pérez, gradually learned how difficult it was to deal with what some people had to say about the disease.

‘We can choose how we receive it. We must always listen to that inner voice, our intuition that guides us in difficult times,” she said.

‘The most important thing is that you don’t become paralyzed by fear. There are many things we can do to heal ourselves, take care of ourselves, move forward, act and look for options and surrounding ourselves with support is an essential part of the process,” Fandiño said.

‘That’s why I want to thank everyone who was around me and left me a message. I’m recovering, I’m healing and with all the faith in the world.”

Fandiño announced her recovery from breast cancer surgery after sharing a series of photos Friday of her lying on her hospital bed surrounded by her loved ones after her discharge.

Argentinian actress and mother of one, Soledad Fandiño, revealed on Instagram on Monday that she had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery last week

While she didn’t reveal why she was hospitalized, she promised to share her “whole process” at the appropriate time, as her focus was on “healing, waking up and building the new.”

Fandiño’s followers were quick to shower her with support, including several who had been diagnosed with breast cancer in the past.

‘Let’s go Sole! I am also in the process of healing,” Paula Giordano wrote. ‘I have finished radiotherapy, another step on this path that I have been on since last year. Let’s give everything in this fight.’

‘Be strong! I just had surgery for the same thing and I’m waiting for the biopsy results to start seeing the oncologist,” Cari Andereggen added. “You have to fight and trust God.”

Fandiño’s public recognition came a day before a new report from the American Cancer Society was published CA: A cancer journal for physicians.

The study found that the death rate from breast cancer in the United States fell by about 44 percent between 1989 and 2022, which equates to about 517,900 fewer breast cancer deaths during that period.

However, the report shows that the incidence of breast cancer increased by 1 percent every year between 2012 and 2021.

The American Cancer Society’s biennial update found there was a sharp increase in the number of women under age 50 (1.4 percent per year) compared to women age 50 and older (0.7 percent).
