Arctic Monkeys fans fear for their headline Glastonbury set after band cancelled Dublin show

Arctic Monkeys fans have been dreading the band’s upcoming headline performance at Glastonbury this weekend, after being forced to pull out of a show in Dublin on Tuesday.

The group left Irish fans bereft after canceling the gig with just one day’s notice after frontman Alex Turner, 37, was stricken with acute laryngitis and ordered to rest by doctors – but did not say for how long.

And with three days to go until the band will take the stage at Worthy Farm on Friday, music fans are panicking that Alex won’t be well enough to perform.

Fans took to Twitter during the news of the recent cancellation expressing concern that Glastonbury has been compromised, with one urging the lead singer to “please get better!”
