Karen Brady has revealed that at 54 she is ‘getting too old’ to be Alan Sugar’s right-hand man on The Apprentice – despite the fact he is still going strong at 76.
“I’m getting too old for it, TV is a young people’s game,” said Baroness Brady, who has appeared on the BBC show for 15 years.
She added: “The days are very long, we film for seven weeks straight without a break, from five in the morning to eleven at night. When I started I was thirty, now I’m fifty.’
The Tory peer also revealed she is undergoing a painful facial laser treatment to maintain her youthful glow for fans of the show which returned this week.
