Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 are getting a whopping $80 discount on Prime Day in October

I’m a big fan of Apple’s AirPods Pro. I’ve owned my pair since before I returned to the iPhone. Actually, I probably don’t need to tell you why they’re great, but I will at the end of this post. But more to the point: Apple AirPods Pro 2 are on sale for $168.99 (down from $249), a 32% discount as part of Amazon’s Prime Day in October and the lowest price we’ve seen yet at $80 off.

This is the latest generation of the AirPods Pro, which first debuted in September 2022 alongside the iPhone 14, and it checks many boxes of what we look for in earphones: the sound is great, the microphone deftly picks up and cuts my voice off background chatter, and they generally fit very comfortably. (The box contains four pairs of silicone eartips to help you find the right size for your ear.)

Pairing these with an Apple device is very easy, but they work pretty well on Android and other gadgets via Bluetooth 5.3. Even if you’re not connected to an Apple device, you can still use the noise control features by simply long pressing on either side, which allows full transparency of your surroundings (great for walking outdoors) and noise cancellation (great for noisier environments such as city streets or during a flight).

They have also been cleared by the FDA to be so converted into hearing aids something soon at some point Amazon product page on the AirPods Pro proudly in the spotlight – and if anyone had to buy hearing aids for family members, that’s me terribly happy with this piece here.

But even if you’re just looking for something for your laptop, console, Steam Deck or Quest VR headset, there are few options as high-quality And just as portable as the AirPods Pro 2. At least until the next generation, but they won’t be available for sale at this price anytime soon.
