Apple Store goes DOWN ahead of the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event – raising hopes the tech giant will launch new products including the iPhone 16

Just six hours before the highly anticipated launch of the iPhone 16, the Apple Store website has gone offline.

Normally, users can browse the website on different devices, but now they get the message: ‘I’ll be right back.’

“We’re updating the Apple Store. Come back soon.”

Also on display is a stylish blue-and-pink version of the Apple logo, just like on Apple’s official invite for today’s product unveiling.

The event, titled ‘It’s Glowtime’, will take place in Cupertino, California, at 10:00 am PT (6:00 pm BST).

Just hours before the highly anticipated iPhone 16 launch event, the Apple Store website is offline. A message reads: “Be right back. We are updating the Apple Store. Come back soon.”

While Apple hasn’t announced a new iPhone, The company has been presenting a new device every year around autumn for over ten years.

Four iPhone 16 models are expected: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, in various colors.

All models are expected to be slightly larger than previous models. This is the first time Apple has increased the size of the iPhone’s screen since the iPhone 12.

The iPhone 16 is expected to get a new button on the right side, which could be a real game-changer for selfie fans.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to come in blue, green, white, black, and pink.

The Pro models will likely come in slightly more muted shades: white, black, gray and bronze.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 family will likely start this Friday, September 13, with the first units likely shipping next week, on Friday, September 20.

The company will also reportedly unveil a special 10th anniversary Apple Watch, marking ten years since the first one was unveiled.

Rumors also suggest that Apple will unveil two new AirPods models as entry-level and mid-range products.
