Apple services are down across the US as users report issues plaguing the App Store.
Downdetector, a site that monitors outages online, shows that the problems started after 11 a.m. ET and are affecting thousands of iOS users.
Apple’s System Status page highlights disruptions to subscriptions and volume purchases, indicating that users are unable to log into certain accounts.
But users have shared that the App Store has been “down for a while,” even though the tech giant’s status page doesn’t reflect this.

Thousands of iOS users submitted reports to Downdetector, with 81 percent citing the App Store server connection.
The messages come from major cities such as San Francisco, Minneapolis and New York City.
Other countries have also reported problems, including Britain and parts of Europe.
Buying new apps isn’t the only problem as an App Store glitch prevents users from updating certain apps.

Another user wrote: ‘The AppStore has been offline for a while and Apple’s status page still doesn’t reflect this.
“It’s getting to the point where I want to get a job at Apple just to get the status checks on that page automated, and then quit and go back to my current job.”
Although users will not be able to download new apps, Apple may lose revenue due to the outage.
In the second quarter of 2024, the App Store generated $24.6 billion in revenue from global users.
The current outage will occur in less than 24 hours.
On Tuesday evening, Apple’s System Status page showed 10 features disabled.
