Apollo Moon dead at 26: Trans porn star passes away in Los Angeles
Transgender porn star Apollo Moon has died at the age of 26.
Moon, also known as Forest Harader, died on Monday, his loved ones told the newspaper them.
A cause of death remains unknown.
Moon’s family said he was hospitalized on November 27 and was put on life support.
Moon’s loved ones created a Mean Train account to raise money after the entertainer was hospitalized.
“On November 27, the Harader family received the unexpected and devastating news that their son/brother Forest had been admitted to the intensive care unit on life support,” the page description reads.
‘His parents are taking a long-term leave from work and, together with his sister Risa, can use all the support you can give during this difficult time.’
The page, which offers meals to people, has received more than $16,000 in donations.

The family updated the page after Moon was declared brain dead, writing: “We would like to let you all know that Forest’s health has deteriorated, he has succumbed to his injuries and has been declared brain dead.
‘Our family is devastated. Forest has designated himself as an organ donor and the hospital will hold an honor walk (date and time to be determined) to celebrate his life and choice to help others.
‘We appreciate all your love and help during this difficult time. Your donations will help us in his celebration of life.”
Many in the adult entertainment community have honored Moon following news of his death.
Porn star Gwen Adora wrote: ‘Devastated when I heard the news of Apollo Moon passing by this morning.
‘You will be remembered as a pioneer, a kind and beautiful force in this harsh world and industry. May you dance in peace forever among the stars.”

Just days before his death, Moon wrote on X: “Being transgender brought me so much joy and nothing in this world made me happier than sharing that experience with my community.”
