“Fox News is very angry that we are for the many and not for the money,” Ocasio-Cortez shot back.

“We gathered 1,200 people in the Bronx to tackle dirty money, take action and send busloads of volunteers to canvass and make phone calls. It’s called organizing. And it’s a lot of fun.’

Ocasio-Cortez, along with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is backing Bowman in his contentious primary, where he faces opposition from some major Democrats.

Bowman is embroiled in a contentious primary against George Latimer, and polls show him hanging by a thread.

The primaries will test whether his support for the Palestinians, his angry criticism of Israel and his progressive policies will lead to his downfall in his Bronx and Westchester districts.

The powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has poured $15 million into the campaign against him.

Other Democratic New Yorkers such as Rep. Ritchie Torres and former Rep. Mondaire Jones have soured on Bowman over his anti-Israel views.

Bowman said the race comes down to who shows up at the polls on Tuesday.

“This is a turnout race, y’all. This is not about persuasion,” he said. “We have our people; they have their people.”
