AOC claims JD Vance, Republicans are campaigning on ‘incel platform’: Squad member says GOP is ‘obsessed’ with women, ‘looking at what LGBTQ people are doing’

Team leader AOC criticized Donald Trump and running mate JD Vance’s “SUPER weird” political platform, saying they’re trying to appeal to sexually frustrated voters.

The bizarre attack comes after Vance faced criticism for calling Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris a “childless cat lady.”

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s attack on Trump and Vance supporters was accompanied by a torrent of insults directed at the Republican presidential candidate, who called the duo “creepy” and “abnormal.”

“Being obsessed with oppressing women is ridiculous,” AOC posted on X in response to a post by former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. “It’s abnormal to try to look at what LGBTQ+ people are doing all the time.”

New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Donald Trump and J.D. Vance are courting incels to get votes for them. Incels typically refer to hyper-online men who express their desire for romantic relationships online despite being unable to find a partner.

“Punishing people who have no biological offspring is creepy,” the Squad leader continued.

“It’s an incel platform, man. It’s SUPER weird. And people need to know,” she added of the Republican presidential nomination.

The New York Democrat specifically referenced the way Donald Trump and JD Vance are trying to convince incels to vote for them.

Incel generally refers to hyper-online men who express their desire for a romantic relationship online, even though they cannot find a partner.

The title is often derogatory and is intended to indicate sexually frustrated and out-of-touch men.

The progressives’ comments come in response to a post by Ramaswamy in which he noted that Democrats were trying to portray Trump and Vance as “weird.”

“The whole ‘they’re weird’ argument from the Democrats is stupid and childish,” his post began.

“This is a presidential election, not a high school prom queen election.”

“It’s also a bit ironic that this comes from a party that preaches ‘diversity and inclusion’. Win on policy if you can, but please stop this nonsense,” the former candidate said in his message.

It must be said that the recent political outbursts from Republicans and Democrats have indeed been strange.

Donald Trump’s vice presidential nominee, J.D. Vance, found himself in the spotlight last week after his previous comments in which he called Democratic leaders “a bunch of childless cat ladies” went viral.

The comments, which were cut from a 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson, called former Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris one of many childless leaders, Vance said, “who are unhappy” and “want to make the rest of the country unhappy, too.”

His provocative theory drew criticism from Friends star Jennifer Aniston, pop star Kesha and VP Harris’ stepdaughter, among others.

And on Sunday night, Vance defended his earlier comments, responding to critics of his remarks about his “childless cat lady,” who claimed that those criticizing him were lying about what he had said.

The 39-year-old senator from Ohio was a guest on Fox News’ “Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy,” where he reiterated his point.

“If you look at what the left has done, they have taken this radically out of context and even aggressively lied about what I said,” Vance alleged.

“What I do think, Trey, and what I mean is the essence of what I said in those remarks three years ago, but what I will continue to say, is that the left is increasingly anti-children and anti-family,” he continued.

On Sunday, Gowdy Vance pointed out that there have been many leaders without biological children, from George Washington to former Republican Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

“I think you will agree with me that direct descendants are not necessary to be fully involved in the future of this country,” Gowdy said.

“Of course not, Trey. I do think that parenthood has a profound effect on one’s perspective and we need to honor and respect that,” Vance said.

“But there are a lot of people who, for various reasons, don’t have children. And they are certainly wonderful people who can fully participate in the life of this country.”
