In a statement of intent on the occasion of Durgashtami, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said those who misbehave with women will be hanged to death if the BJP is voted back.

Taking a strong stance on crime against women, CM Chouhan asserted that those who misbehave with daughters and sisters “will not be spared”.

“If necessary, they can even roll out bulldozers to demolish their properties,” said the chief minister, who will seek a new mandate in the upcoming state elections.
