Anyone can now browse Apple Vision Pro apps on the web
You no longer need an Apple Vision Pro to view Vision Pro apps, as the visionOS App Store is now available for browsing the web – just like the equivalent App Stores for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS.
Go to the Vision Pro App Store in your browser (as noted by 9to5Mac), and you can browse categories including business, entertainment, and education. You can also find iPhone and iPad apps and games that run on the Vision Pro.

Plus, it gives people who don’t own one of the headsets a chance to see what apps are available for it. If you’re spending $3,499 (about £2,750 / AU$5,330) or more on a piece of hardware, you might want to see what you can do with it before you buy it.
A wider rollout
The experience of browsing the visionOS App Store is very similar to what you might already be familiar with when looking for apps for other devices – and some app listings simply have an extra Apple Vision tab added.
You can view screenshots, view descriptions of the apps and reviews left by other users, and get information about the data collected by each app. Details of app prices and in-app purchase prices are also shown.
It’s possible that the launch of the Vision Pro App Store on the web has something to do with the rumors of the headset launching internationally. At the moment you can only buy the device in the US, but that may change in the near future.
There’s also talk that a cheaper version of the Vision Pro could be in the pipeline – although it might not hit the market until 2026. Sales may not be in huge numbers just yet, but there’s no doubting Apple’s commitment to the Vision Pro.
