Anton Du Beke took a savage swipe at Angela Rippon during the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.

The TV presenter, 79, took part in the live tour with her professional dancer Kai Widdrington, 28.

And while she graced the stage with her impressive high-kick splits during her performance, Anton was eager to give his feedback afterwards.

According to The sunAnton noted, “Some of my partners can’t get down the stairs without help, let alone…”

Angela’s performance comes after she suffered a severe asthma attack while dancing on stage in Liverpool during the live tour in January.

After being treated by paramedics at the scene, Angela explained that she could breathe again, but the doctor prescribed two days of bed rest, forcing her to miss shows in Leeds.

In response to Anton’s cheeky comment, he recently did so revealed the results of his hair transplant on Monday Loose womenjoking that he wants to emulate the curly locks of young Strictly finalist Bobby Brazier.

On the ITV chat show he said: It’s all mine, I just let it slide.

‘They take it off the back and have it replanted at the front, he (the doctor) is an absolute genius.

“I want to be just like Bobby, floating through the air, beautiful and youthful.”

The TV star joined host and former Strictly partner Ruth Langsford, as well as Linda Robson, Olivia Attwood Dack and Gloria Hunniford for his interview.

When asked by former Birds of a Feather star Linda what he thinks of the recent rumors that Strictly winner Ellie Leach has gotten together with Bobbyhe admitted he wouldn’t know.

He said: ‘There are always rumors!

‘I don’t know because I spend all my time with Craig (Revel Horwood, fellow judge).

‘We travel together and share a dressing room together, we are like an old married couple. I don’t see any of the tricks.”

However, on the hair front, Anton did reveal that former Coronation Street actress Ellie ‘brought the house down’ during a recent performance on the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour after her hairpiece flew off during a routine.

He said: ‘We had an unpleasant incident last night and I hope they don’t mind my saying one of the girls’ hair pieces fell to the floor.

‘Absolutely brilliant, it brought the house down, the best night we’ve had on tour. Her partner insisted, nightmare, but it was great.’

For the first time ever, Anton, Craig and head judge Shirley Ballas are out with the latest Strictly Come Dancing contestants for the live tour.

Although he doesn’t dance in the show himself, he admitted that it had been “really fun” to go on tour because of the television show’s “sudden” ending.

‘It’s also a lot of fun doing the show because when you do Strictly Come Dancing it ends so suddenly. This gives you a chance to see the couples dancing more and seeing how they get it out of their system.”
