It looks like your typical red-brick suburban house… but inside was a gruesome scene. Now a neighbor has broken his silence about what he found
- ‘Beautiful’ couple from Adelaide allegedly attacked at home
- Motorcycle mechanic charged with two counts of attempted murder
A neighbor who found two friends unconscious and covered in blood after a brutal alleged double assault at a suburban home has spoken out about the horror scene he found.
Antoinette ‘Toni’ McGraw, 49, and Neil Sieben, 66, were both found clinging to life in a red-brick house in a suburb of Smithfield Plains, north Adelaide.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and took them to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where they underwent emergency surgery.
Shortly afterwards, South Australian police arrested motorcycle mechanic Thomas Westcott, 32, and charged him with two counts of attempted murder.
One man who felt the couple was clinging to life in the house broke down when he told Nine News: “It’s starting to get to me now.”
Another woman who knew the couple commented that McGraw and Sieben were “such lovely neighbors” and said she hoped they would “get through.”
