It comes after MailOnline revealed that Antigoni is in talks to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The singer, who is of Greek/Cypriot descent, submitted three songs to the country’s largest TV channel, which broadcast the spectacle, after traveling to Athens to show her material.
She has been told a decision is imminent and she hopes to get the green light to perform at the Liverpool showpiece next year after being told her songs were well received by bosses.

Antigoni said, “I’m submitting three songs, but one in particular is my favorite.
‘It’s an uptempo, powerful, fiery and romantic song with both Greek and English lyrics.
‘Combining modern sounds and hip-hop production with Greek traditional sounds and melodies is my style.’
The reality star admitted that performing in the UK where she lives would make it extra special.
She added: ‘I am so proud of my Greek roots and my goal as a musician is to share Greek sounds and culture with the world.
“As the Eurovision Song Contest is held in the UK where I live, it would be an honor to be able to use my platform here to shine a light on the country I represent.”
Antigoni, the daughter of celebrity chef Tonia, enjoyed a memorable stint at the Love Island villa this summer, having joined as one of the great arrivals.
The North Londoner has a musical background and was signed to Island Records at the age of 20 by former president Darcus Beese, the man who also signed Amy Winehouse to the label.
After parting ways with the company, she founded her own independent label Sirena Records and released a single called Hit List in May.
Before going to Love Island, Antigoni dated her childhood sweetheart for nine years before breaking up so she could focus on music.
