Anti-trans UFC star who offered to fight 10 trans men in a row is taunted by an irate wrestler who vows to wipe the floor with him

UFC star Jake Shields sparked a scandal when he challenged 10 male trans fighters to take on him without a break between fights – and now wrestler Mark Beggs has answered the call and boasted that he was the former world title contender ‘f** k up’ will make.
Shields has voiced his controversial views on transgender issues on more than one occasion, including a now-deleted Tweet calling for public executions for anyone who supported children transitioning from one gender to the other.
After a decision loss to former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard at UFC 171 in 2014, Shields was let go from the organization.
He has called up transgender men for an exhibition MMA fight and stated that he would face 10 of them in separate fights with no rest in between.
Shields – who once fought Georges St Pierre for the UFC welterweight crown – will be a tough challenge for Beggs, who has not fought in any professional competition to date

‘Because trans men are real men, I want to challenge the 10 toughest trans men in the world to a fight. I fight them with no training camp and no rest between each fight,” Shields tweeted.
He then doubled down on his challenge when no one initially accepted.
“A million views and not a single trans man has signed up to take my challenge. I’m starting to think they don’t have the balls to fight me,” he posted.
However, Beggs, an amateur wrestler and transgender man, has now come forward to take him on.

“We’re just going to make it an official call, but Jake Shields, I’ll take you up on your offer,” he said.
“But the offer isn’t 10 to one and 10 trans men that you’re going to fight for the rest of the night.
“You’re going to do a one-on-one typing contest.
‘You’re going to do well. If you’re going to call yourself a fighter, do it right.
Like, that’s just fucking disrespectful. It’s disrespectful to the sport of MMA if you just say ‘oh yeah, let me just call 10 trans men and I’ll f***ing whoop them’.
‘And [to ask] if there are even transman warriors. And there is.
“The fact that everyone is like ‘oh yeah, like trans women are screwing up the fighting world. Hey, we’re still here, bro.
“We’re still here, we’ve always been here.
“It’s the fact that you’re all so fixated and hyper-fixed and have a fucking fetish with trans women that you even forget that we’re fucking here and we’re going to fuck you.
“I’m going to prank you specifically Jake Shields.”
Shields has accepted the challenge, with details to be determined.

Beggs was infamously forced to wrestle against girls during the transition from female to male in high school.
He won the Texas State Girls’ Wrestling Championship two years in a row after being banned from the men’s division because Texas law requires students to compete under the gender listed on their birth certificates.
“I can say that I was biologically female, so technically there was no advantage,” Beggs said in 2021.
“And I made sure there was no benefit because when I was on testosterone I was taking a hormone blocker on top of my hormones.
“So it wasn’t just my estrogen that was depleted, but it was the synthetic hormone testosterone that I was also putting into my body that was decreasing as well.”
