At least a dozen protesters have been arrested by police after clashing with them during a rowdy demonstration in New York yesterday.
The violence broke out when a large number of NYPD officers tried to push back an angry crowd of nearly 250 people who took to the streets of Brooklyn to march in support of Palestine.
The group waved Palestinian flags near Ovington Avenue, on the local shopping street in the heavily Arab-American neighborhood.
Footage shows officers tackling and dragging protesters to arrest them as they continued to shout and fight back.

People were seen being slammed into vans and handcuffed while another, draped in a Palestinian flag, was filmed being loaded into a police vehicle.
A video shared on X also show a police officer allegedly beating a protester in the middle of the street.
