An anti-feminist influencer has sparked outrage online after arguing that divorce should be illegal and women shouldn’t have the right to vote.
Known online as Pearl, Hannah Pearl Davis has more than 1.52 million subscribers to her controversial YouTube channel, where she praises her conservative and misogynistic views.
The 26-year-old content creator saw a spike in popularity this year following the arrest of misogynist influencer Andrew Tate, with whom she shares some controversial views.
Davis defended her beliefs during her recent sit-down interview with Ethan Klein about his own H3 podcastsaying ‘we should have policies that push the family’.

Davis stunned de Klein when she argued that divorce should be illegal. “I just think if you want to leave, you just shouldn’t get married,” she countered
“I think feminism in general was a bad thing. I think women are happier in the long run when we have a family and kids over a career,” she explained.
Davis claimed that children from single-parent homes are more likely to drop out of school, go to jail, and develop mental health problems.
She argued that in order to keep families together, we need to “abolish incentives that push women to leave their marriages,” such as child support and alimony.
‘I think we should also ban divorce. Yes, I think that should be banned,’ she said.
Klein tried to get her to admit that it would be “stupid” to make divorce illegal, but she doubled down on her position.
“I just think if you want to leave, just don’t get married,” she told the host. “So, that’s my opinion.”
Davis eventually agreed that there should be an exception to her divorce ban in the case of domestic violence, but only if the marriages are “unilateral physical violence.”
“I just think the goal should be to keep families together, and the goal should be to get through it,” she said.

Klein pushed Davis further, asking how she would prove physical abuse to allow this exception, saying the alleged abuser should be taken to criminal court.
“So only if your significant other is brought to criminal trial, can you end the relationship? Tried and found criminally guilty?’ he asked.
“Yes,” she replied, adding that people who want a divorce shouldn’t get married in the first place.
“I just say, stay out of the marriage,” she said. “Marriage is supposed to be for good and for bad, in sickness and in health, and for richer or poorer. like leaving.’
Davis claimed that the “majority” of divorces happen when “the girl feels like leaving,” which Klein says is “simply not true.”
According to a study75 percent of divorcees surveyed cited a lack of commitment as the reason for divorce. Sixty percent blamed infidelity, while nearly 25 percent said their marriage ended because of domestic violence.
“What’s a marriage if you can divorce for almost anything?” Davis asked. “It’s not a marriage anymore. It’s something else.’
The influencer later stated that women should not have the right to vote because they are not registered for the draft.
Davis also stated that women should not have the right to vote in the US because they are not required to register for the draft
Many viewers scoffed Davis in the comments, saying she’s hypocritical, misinformed, and a “grifter.” Some also accused her of making bizarre statements for attention
“I think feminism wants equality when it benefits us and not real equality,” she said, insisting she would rather give up her right to vote than be drafted.
Klein pointed out that the U.S. military has had no conscription since 1973, and Davis also thinks having women in the military would weaken the military, so her argument is moot.
“If feminists want the right to vote, then it should come with the draft… Where are the feminists fighting for equality in this situation?” she hit back.
Klein added that a number of feminists want the draft to be abolished, saying, “That’s equality, isn’t it?”
“I’ve never heard them talk about that, but hey,” she said.
Many viewers scoffed Davis in the comments, saying she’s hypocritical, misinformed, and a “grifter.”
“Why doesn’t she live by her own example? Why is she out of the kitchen without a man? Why does she have a job as a content creator?’ one person asked.

Earlier this year, Davis told Insider that she considers herself an advocate for men — not a misogynist. “I don’t hate women,” she said
‘Is this a joke? I can’t believe this woman is serious. I’m stunned,” someone else added.
“So she preaches that women should focus more on marriage and children than careers, but she herself is focused on her career while she is single and has no children. Why is it good for her but bad for other women?’ another grabbed.
A number of people also accused her of faking her extreme views to gain attention, a claim she has denied in the past.
“I understand why she does what she does, money. What I don’t understand is the people who look at her and agree,” one critic shared.
“Pear is seriously a buzzword generator and nothing more,” someone else insisted. “She has no idea what she’s talking about.”
