Anthony Joshua stopped Otto Wallin at the end of the fifth round of their 'Day of Reckoning' fight in Saudi Arabia.
The Briton put in an impressive performance to claim his third straight win after back-to-back defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.
The 34-year-old was aggressive from the start of the fight and by the end of the fifth round Joshua had put the pressure on his Swedish opponent, who looked jaded by the end of the fifth round.
Wallin's corner had informed referee Steve Gray that the 33-year-old could not continue, with Joshua claiming the technical knockout victory as he ended his opponent's six-match winning streak.
Joshua looked back to his old self tonight, but said of his performance: “It [didn’t feel like] a throwback fight, just another fight. I respect Otto throughout the build-up. I have to focus on the man in front of me because of what he brings to the table.
“But not so much another throwback fight, just another day at the office.”
