Anthony Joshua scored a victory against Otto Wallin in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening and celebrated with his fans after the fight.

It was an excellent performance from the 34-year-old, who looked aggressive from the start and delivered a thunderous fifth round before Wallin's team decided their fighter could go no further.

The win means that Joshua has now won all three of his fights this year and while some uncertainty remains as to who he could fight next, the British fighter has put in an excellent performance today that will cause some concern among the fighters in the heavyweight division.

After the fight, Joshua was seen shaking hands with Andy Ruiz, who defeated Joshua earlier in 2019 with a technical knockout.

Joshua also celebrated the win with fans at the Kingdom Arena, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, holding his chest as he smiled and waved to the crowd.

It was in stark contrast to the last time he fought in Saudi Arabia, following his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, after Joshua failed to take back his heavyweight belts from the Ukrainian.

He had thrown two of the belts out of the ring onto the floor before storming off to his own dressing room before returning to shake Usyk's hand.

Joshua then grabbed a microphone and gave an outburst cheering for Usyk.

He said, 'I'm stealing this Usyk. I'm sorry, but that's because of the passion we put into it.

“This guy who beat me tonight, maybe I could have done better, but it shows how much hard I've worked, so please give him a round of applause as our world heavyweight champion.”

'I'm not a 12 round fighter, look at me, I'm a new breed of heavyweights, Mike Tyson, Sonny Liston, Jack Dempsey, “you don't throw combinations like Rocky Marciano”, I'm 18 stone, I'm heavy, it's hard work.'

Yet Joshua looked very different on Saturday: he stepped onto the ropes with a smile and pounded his chest with joy.

Speaking about the victory, he said: “We have bigger ambitions.

“Like I said to Louis Theroux, we don't celebrate when we win these fights, we celebrate when we win titles.”
