Anthony Joshua knocks out Francis Ngannou in the SECOND ROUND of their blockbuster bout in Saudi Arabia, folding the former UFC champion’s leg as he left him out cold

Anthony Joshua destroyed Francis Ngannou with a vicious right hook in the second round of their blockbuster clash in Riyadh, leaving him stone cold on the deck.

Joshua knocked down the former UFC champion three times in a sensational blitz. If you blinked, you missed it.

AJ defeated Ngannou for the first time in his career with less than a minute left of the first round, before forcing him to the deck twice in the second round.

AJ and Ngannou competed in the co-main event of the ‘Knockout Chaos’ card in Saudi Arabia, attended by the good and the great.

Tyson Fury, Ronaldo Nazario and Jose Mourinho were among the spectators as Joshua defeated Ngannou in the most eagerly anticipated match of the year so far.

Eddie Hearn said: ‘That was one of the most destructive knockouts I have ever seen. He destroyed Francis Ngannou.”

This was only Ngannou’s second professional boxing fight following his close and controversial defeat to Tyson Fury via split decision in October.

Joshua has built himself back up after a double defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, with the 34-year-old heading into this fight on the back of back-to-back victories over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius and Otto Wallin.
