Anthony Gordon misses his SECOND successive day of training despite the prospect of a move to high-flying Newcastle with Everton still unconcerned with a £60m price tag.

Everton attacker Anthony Gordon has reportedly missed his second successive day of training at Finch Farm.

Gordon, the subject of interest from Newcastle United, was inexplicably elsewhere on both Wednesday and Thursday, in addition to a ‘planned absence’ earlier in the week.

According to Sky Sports, Gordon failed to make it to Everton’s training base in Merseyside as he looks to escape his boyhood club for the rising Magpies.
