Anthony Albanese tennis photos spark outrage just hours after synagogue terror
Anthony Albanese has been pictured playing tennis in Perth, just a day after a terror attack on a synagogue in Melbourne.
Photos taken on Saturday at Cottesloe Tennis Club in Perth show Mr Albanese decked out in all tennis whites as he played in the sunshine.
Mr Albanese has been widely criticized for not visiting the site of the synagogue attack and for taking 48 hours to declare it a terrorist event.
The match took place the same weekend Albnanese was called out by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who accused his government of fostering a wave of anti-Semitism in Australia.
Many Aussies booed Mr Albanese for the tennis match.
‘A synagogue is set on fire while people are praying inside. @AlboMP decides to play tennis in Cottesloe,” one person said. ‘Unfit to lead.’
This is a breaking story. There’s more to come.
