- Anthony Albanese was seen chatting with John Ibrahim
Respected entertainment journalist Peter Ford has revealed a surprising moment at Kyle Sandilands’ star-studded wedding to Tegan Kynaston.
According to Ford’s well-connected sources, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was spotted talking to Sydney’s colorful nightclub identity, John Ibrahim, at the star-studded event.
“They talked, and in fact it was the prime minister who initiated that conversation,” Ford claimed.
Unfortunately, no one got a photo of them chatting, an image Ford described as the “money shot.”
‘There were a lot of negotiations going on about who could be photographed with whom and who couldn’t; you can be sure of that.’
He claimed that some guests had been instructed to “stay away” from others.

Of the 130 people who mingled at Sandiland’s glitzy wedding, the pairing that stood out was Anthony Albanese who briefly chatted with John Ibrahim
The radio king’s best man was convicted drug trafficker Simon Main.
In photos shared on social media on the big day, the shock jock stood proudly with his groomsmen, who wore Daniel Narvaez suits costing more than $15,000.
Main, who was jailed in Italy in 2000 for his role in an attempt to sell 333,000 ecstasy pills worth $10 million, has a colorful history – but Kyle defended his close friend on the day of his wedding.
“These are my friends,” Sandilands told Daily Mail Australia, referring to Main.

“My buddy did something stupid 25 years ago. What, should he be sentenced for the rest of his life?
‘[Main] is ashamed of me and I said, ‘I don’t care.’ My friends are my friends and they are the most honest, solid people I’ve ever met,” he added.
“I’ve met a lot of people in my life who promised this and that, and then turned into complete charlatans.
“These guys are true men of their word and that’s why they’re my lifelong friends.”
The prime minister was criticized for attending, but he doubled down in advance, saying he accepted the invitation because he was happy to witness the happy couple’s “expression of love”.
Albanians spent six hours at the wedding.
Ibrahim was one of three Sandilands groomsmen. So was convicted drug smuggler Simon Main, who, like Ibrahim, was dressed in matching navy blue suits with oversized white boutonnieres to match the groom.
Kyle Sandilands married Tegan Kyneston on Saturday in a lavish ceremony at the historic Swift Mansion in Darling Point
“I was invited in the context of Kyle saying how happy he was with Tegan, with his relationship and with his baby Otto coming along.
‘Baby Otto is also an expression of the love between Kyle and Tegan. That’s a good thing.’
He relaxed in the company of the wedding party guests, including Karl Stefanovic, host of Nine’s Today, and former executive producer of Kyle & Jackie O, Sonia Jahshan.
