Daily Mail Australia published a video of Barnaby Joyce on a Canberra street late at night on February 8 after mixing alcohol with prescription drugs
Mr Albanese had previously ruled out inviting Mr Joyce to the wedding, telling KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O on Wednesday that he was the only person on the list so far.
“Barnaby’s not invited… that’s very clear,” he said.
The shots fired at Mr Joyce come after Daily Mail Australia published images of him sprawled on a sidewalk in Canberra on the evening of February 8.
Video showed the Shadow Cabinet member, 56, on the ground in inner Braddon after sitting on a planter and falling off at 11.56pm.
The former deputy prime minister could be heard mumbling on the phone as he lay flat on his back on the ground, including an outburst in which he said: ‘dead f***ing c***’.
Sources told Daily Mail Australia that Mr Joyce was on a phone call with his wife Vikki Campion at the time and had mixed alcohol with prescription drugs.
The video has raised questions about the former deputy prime minister’s suitability to sit on the opposition front bench.

Mr Joyce has said he would no longer drink alcohol during Lent
The day after the video emerged, Mr Joyce appeared late in parliament and Mr Albanese said his colleague was in “obviously difficult circumstances”.
Mr Joyce told Nine’s Today Show that he is temporarily giving up alcohol during Lent.
“I’ve given up two things for Lent: one is drinking, and the other is talking about it about other people,” he said.
Mr Joyce’s Nationals member Perrin Davey has similarly come under fire for appearing at a Senate hearing where she was seen slurring words.
Senator Davey admitted to drinking two glasses of red wine before the hearing, but denied being drunk and instead blamed recent surgery for her speech problems.
Independent MP Zali Steggall proposed introducing drug and alcohol testing in parliament after the scandals, but was shot down by both Mr Albanese and opposition leader Peter Dutton.
