Ant Middleton reveals he’s starting an acting career
Ant Middleton hopes to transition to a big screen acting career as he signs on for a new action movie role – after landing gig as host of Million Dollar Island
Ant Middleton has a new career ahead.
The SAS Australia presenter is delighted to have signed on to star in his first film, action thriller Shelter.
Middleton will star as assassin Rob Shaw who travels to a remote location to rescue his ex-wife.
The British television personality, 42, tells TV week that the plot is close to his heart.
“That really resonates with me because I’m a huge family man,” Ant told the publication.

Middleton added that he has aspirations to continue starring in big screen roles in the future.
“Hopefully this will be the start of my acting career,” he told TV Week.
He previously said he was drawn to the role because “it has depth, purpose and relatability.”
Ant also confessed that he has his sights set on becoming a movie star and hopes to “make ripples through the industry.”
Ant’s latest venture, Million Dollar Island, which he hosts, reached Channel Sevea Monday night.

“Hopefully this will be the start of my acting career,” he told TV Week
“Think The Hunger Games and Lost come together…but not so brutally,” the former British Special Forces soldier said in a statement.
“This is a high stakes challenge for ordinary, everyday Aussies. Literally anyone can apply. You don’t have to be the strongest or strongest person to win big.
“I can’t wait to see what the Australian participants have, how well they know themselves and how far they will go to change their lives.”
Contestants must learn to survive on the deserted island as they compete for 100 wristbands that will ultimately be worth $1 million.
