Ant McPartlin suffers embarrassing blunder on Saturday Night Takeaway

Ant McPartlin had a giggle when he had an on-air accident this weekend during Saturday Night Takeaway’s live grand finale.

Television host Ant headlined the show alongside Declan Donnelly with the help of singer Nicole Scherzinger of Florida’s Universal Orlando Resort.

But proceedings didn’t go to plan when Ant, 47, got in trouble with a prop while doing a piece on camera with Nicole, 44.

As the pair played Saturday Night At The Movies — in which Nicole tried to guess what movies viewers were playing at home over a video link — Ant held a clapperboard to the camera, but half of it broke off, leaving him puzzled.

“It fell apart in the heat!” he exclaimed.

One person wrote, “#SaturdayNightTakeaway sad it’s ending. Absolutely love the show and watch every Saturday!”

‘Get upset, it’s the last episode of the series! #SaturdayNightTakeaway,” someone else wrote, while another viewer posted, “Not ready to be the last #SaturdayNightTakeaway for another year.”
