Ant McPartlin and wife Anne-Marie Corbett keep things casual in shorts as they enjoy a date night during downtime from I’m A Celebrity filming

Ant McPartlin enjoyed a date night in Australia with his wife Anne Marie Corbett as he films the latest series of I’m A Celebrity.

The new parents had the evening to themselves as they were pictured without their seven-month-old son, Wilder Patrick, returning from a walk at 6:30 pm with their beach towels.

The pair were dressed casually: Ant, 49, wore a white T-shirt and floral print board shorts, while his wife of three years, Anne Marie, 46, wore a striped blue and white shirt with jeans.

The couple made the most of the first Sunday after several days of heavy rain and spent an early evening together as Ant had to get up at 2am every morning to film the live show.

Anne Marie flew out with their newborn earlier this week, leaving her two teenage daughters Poppy and Daisy behind in Britain as they finished school before the Christmas holidays.

The family of three were spotted on a coffee date on Thursday as Ant pushed the pram through the main street of Cabaritta, where he and his long-term hosting partner Dec prefer to stay while filming the show.

The Geordie duo have rented the same £1,000 beachfront penthouse apartment for ten years and are regarded as VIPs by the local community.

In 2019, Anne Marie took her daughters out of school to join them in Australia while Ant was still finalizing his divorce from his ex-wife of 12 years, Lisa Armstrong, 48.

Lisa, who he divorced in 2018, was also expected to join him in Australia during their wedding.

Ant is a devoted stepfather to his wife’s daughters, whom she shares with her ex-husband Scott Corbett.

The Geordie presenter mentioned one of them during his I’m A Celeb aftershow, Jungle Club, saying: ‘It’s snowing in some parts of Britain as I was talking to my daughter in Newcastle and it’s snowing there, she’s making snowballs . So much has been recorded.’

Ant and Anne-Marie married in the summer of 2021 at the five-star Heckfield Place Hotel in Hampshire.

Their star-studded guest list included Frank and Christine Lampard, David Walliams and Phillip Schofield.

Anne-Marie wore a Suzanne Neville wedding dress worth £15,000.

Ant and Dec kicked off the new series of I’m A Celeb on Sunday evening, with stars including Coleen Rooney, Tulisa, Oti Mabuse and Danny Jones taking to the famous jungle.

Ant’s outing with his wife comes after he admitted he was ‘unprofessional’ during Dean McCullough’s latest Bushtucker trial, after fans clocked his ‘furious’ reaction when the DJ once again quit the challenge.

The 32-year-old Radio 1 presenter has been consistently chosen by the public to take on the challenges in recent days and Ant couldn’t hide his frustration after quitting again – this time after being showered with fish guts.

Viewers noticed Ant was ‘low-key angry’ at Dean during Thursday’s show for ‘not trying hard’ in his first two attempts and so urged the radio host to ‘try harder’.

Ant commented on his reaction during an appearance on the spin-off I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked, saying: ‘My annoyance came across on the screen and I was quite unprofessional. You get to the point where you’re like, ‘What are you doing?’

When Dean arrived at his third trial in three days, Ant and Dec went over the Lethal Lab rules, adding that he would be joined by cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, giant lizards, snakes and spiders.

Ant said, “Now, Dean, I want to have a word with you. What happened yesterday? No stars. What happened the day before? You said I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here. You can only change the story by sticking to it and continuing with it.”

During the very stern conversation, Dean told Ant: ‘I feel like Ant and Dec are making fun of me.’

Dec commented: ‘I’m a good cop,’ while Ant added: ‘He is [Dec] very root and I’m very tenacious.’
